This F150 Raptor received our best paint enhancement and protection. A 3 stage wash ensures a clean surface. Including pre-wash with citrus based degreaser to break down bugs or sap, decontamination wash with iron remover to remove break dust that embeds into clear coat, then regular hand wash. After this with we use claybar with soapy water to remove any last bits or contaminates from clear coat. Once that’s all completed we did a light polish to enhance the gloss in the paint. Then panel by panel we use isopropyl alcohol to remove any left behind polish. Now we are ready for the coating! This is a two step process of applying the liquid paint protection film and then a leveler/hardener to ensure a level coating. After that we apply ceramic coating that’s part sio2, graphene and boron. This also enhances the gloss and slickness of the surface. That really makes the colors pop and keeps cleaner longer. Finally the vehicle cures for 8 hours and then the owners picks it up fully protected for at least 10 years.
